Norseman - Highland

Went for afternoon tea so nice lots of cakes to choose from four types of sandwiches and hot sausage rolls pot of tea all for£12.50 per person excellent value

I have visited this restaurant before, but this time I made a last-minute reservation for an emergency. Unfortunately, I arrived too late for food, but I have always enjoyed the meals here. I stayed in a single room on the third floor, which was comfortable and not overly hot. It met my needs perfectly. Once again, the staff were excellent and the breakfast was fantastic. I have no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel is located in the centre of town. It is quite old fashioned but seemed t be popular with the local people. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the car park and there was a drawback in that the windows had no net curtains which meant when we were in the bedroom we had to have the curtains drawn. Also no shower gel was provided which is standard in most hotels these days.

We had a very pleasant meal at the Norseman. We booked at very short notice. Both main meals and the desserts we had were delicious and very generous. The service was good and for the meal we had, it was great value for the meal. We would certainly go again if we weren't on holiday several hundred miles from home!

Had a wonderful time celebrating our daughters 18th birthday with family and friends. The food and service was first class nothing was too much trouble. The staff are very attentive and the food was served hot and all together, nobody was left waiting
