I would have previously recommended Cobbs HIS as one of the best places for a cooked breakfast in Inverness. They had the winning combination of good food, good prices, and obliging staff. View all feedback.
What insideeye2017 doesn't like about Cobbs:
Small greasy spoon attached to a hardware store. The coffee is ok but foods seems all deep fried and cakes are dry Strange set up of the cook bringing the food out to the table. View all feedback.

Love this place. Full of functional gadgets, tools and clothing, a dog-friendly café and kitchen and horsey sections. There's a food hygiene and catering section too but not been there. Friendly helpful staff who can sometimes give discounts.
Tried in vain to find a strimmer spool online and even though I put in the make model and number I still got the wrong ones at vastly inflated prices. Thought I'd give HIS a try not realising they'd have it as the strimmer isn't a particularly new model. Rang on the Monday spool in on the Friday though it wasn't in stock great service very helpful staff and great customer service. I've used HIS for years and have never had a negative experience yet. Knowledgeable friendly staff okay stuffs a bit dearer but it's worth it for the service alone plus its a local form. Keep it up xxxxx
Used to be a great place for a lunch, will not be back!!!
This is well off the beaten track but it has a comprehensive menu with big portions, reasonable prices and has always offered quick service. There is also free wifi and Inverness's greatest shop of all: HIS is part of the building!
