Even after about 10 visits, still one of my most favourite restaurants in Perth of all time. The flavours and detail in the food are next level and the service and ambiance is great every time. Will continue to return time and time again! View all feedback.
What Charlotte Donnelly doesn't like about St Michael 6003:
Pleasant evening but St Michael 6003 didn't give us that wow factor we were expecting. Yes agreed the ambience is nice, staff efficient and food portions appropriate however the taste and flavour were missing from the food combinations. We chose the three course option which is good value however when we dine out we look for that food experience which is going to give us that pleasant surprise. The food combination... Booked this place for a good friend’s birthday. Greeted with smiling faces and promptly showed to our seats. We opted for the special $69pp degustation menu. St Micheal’s were very accomodating to all our dietary requirements. Everything we had was delicious. Great service, great food and great company. Definitely coming back again!
Fantastic dining experience. The staff and service were exceptional. They were all friendly, efficient and professional.<br/ <br/ We had the seven-course dinner and the food was amazing. Our favorite dish was the Scallop and Pig's Cheek. Highly recommended.
Now I 've been here on 3 occasions so far in 2018 with different people and all (including me) have been impressed with the food, atmosphere and service. The dishes are varied, thoughtful and creative the same could be said of the wine list. Quality place to take family and friends if you want to impress. I 'd definitely go back as I consider it a 'jewel ' of a restaurant diagonally opposite the Queens Hotel in Highgate.
Had an enjoyable experience here last night. The room that houses the restaurant is great, beautiful ambience and very polished! Food was up there but wouldn’t say it’s the best fine dining we’ve had in Perth (our special occasion restaurant used to be Amuse’, still hunting for a replacement). <br/ <br/ Staffing/ service was very patchy, what appeared to be the owner/ manager was brilliant and so was another older staff member however the juniors seemed to struggle with fine dining basics such as topping up tables wine glasses/ even pouring a glass of wine when they bring a bottle over and explaining meals when they’re served. Despite this they were all very nice and it was excused because of how friendly they were. <br/ <br/ Could be a very good restaurant with some better service and maybe some more effort in their degustation dishes.
We all decided to go for the $95 seven course tasting menu. It was overall ok although we've had better degustations elsewhere. My favourite course was the dessert, and the scallops were good too. <br/ <br/ Staff were very friendly however, lacked a bit of attentiveness as they did not seem to come back with the correct number of cutlery at almost each course and had to grab an extra of something and come back. We only had 5 people, wasn't like a massive group.
