Kfc - High Peak
Kfc
Description
KFC in Buxton presents a mixed bag of experiences for diners. While some guests rave about hot, delicious chicken and friendly staff, others are left disappointed by cold, overcooked meals and unclean surroundings. Reports of slow service persist, with inadequate staffing leading to long wait times. Customers express frustration over inconsistent food quality and incomplete orders, prompting complaints to management. Despite its appeal as a family-friendly option with basic, budget-friendly fare, many suggest this restaurant needs significant organizational improvements to elevate its standards and viability in the competitive fast food landscape.

Very good ah. staff were very polite and the food was scrumptious will be going to this one every time i want a kfc
We always have a bargain bucket with gravy as sides and we did on this occasion, a ten piece bucket to be precise. Whilst waiting I noticed customers in front of me checking their meals when they had been served, which was not encouraging and prompted me to do likewise and I'm glad I did. I had ordered two gravy's but only got one. I queried this and it caused problems as there was an offer on, an offer I had not been made aware of. To cut a long story short I left with two gravy's. On arriving home and really looking forward to our meal, we opened the gravy and it was like glue absolutely solid. The chicken was no where near as spicy as it should be and quite tasteless and warm (and we only live up the road)! We won't be going back.
Even with new management this place is disgusting and underpar. The staff still on another planet! The premises stinks to high heaven due to the know drainage problems the restraunt has (you can find details of its hygenew and structural rating on Derbyshire County councilshow website) they employ small members of staff on ZERO HOUR CONTRACTS Also still using two small batch fryers to fry both fries and chicken (vegetarian and meat in the same fryers) (and an illegal practice in the restaurant trade) Vegans and veggies don't dine here for your own safety... anyone in general.. jut don't go here. Derbyshire County council if you read this shut it down with immediate effect.
I went to the restaurant today at 1:59pm to purchase a £1.99 fill up, but was told by the staff that the offer had ended. Despite it being advertised on the website, the staff insisted it was no longer valid. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service and rude attitude of the staff. I ended up purchasing the £3.99 value Mega Box, but was not satisfied as the chips were soggy and the chicken was dry. It was clear that there was a lack of management and a need for better customer service. If the staff member reads this, please note that the offer ends on June 16th, 2019.
