The staff were all extremely friendly and the menu was so good that it was difficult to decide what to order. The food was delicious and tasted authentic. I would highly recommend dining here.

We were so happy to have discovered it because... read more My wife and I have been to Buxton several times over the years, but this restaurant somehow went unnoticed by us. We were so happy to have discovered it because it's really good. The interior has nice tables and seating areas, and the food is of high quality and well presented with attention to detail. We started with delicious garlic mushrooms, followed by mixed kebabs with the most delicious crispy roast potatoes. The staff is friendly and the prices for food and wine are reasonable given the current economy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant, even for those with discerning tastes. We will definitely be back. - Edward and Christina McAlpine.

The service was excellent and the f... read more The owner or manager Yanis, was very helpful with my gluten, dairy and soya free diet. He was able adapt menu items to suit. The service was excellent and the food so good we went back the following night. Great atmosphere although a little loud at times. Not the fault of the manager but the customers! If I’m ever back in Buxton I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Ithaca.
