What 685garid likes about Frydays:
I tend to visit these days as a treat, and I've never been let down or disappointed. Lovely chap who owns it and the same can be said for everyone behind the counter, very reasonable prices and their fish is fantastic! They've recently started doing breakfast items too. Always a pleasure to support a local business, especially one so tasty as this! View all feedback. What PeakDistrictStar doesn't like about Frydays:
Tried this chippy as moved to this end of whaley bridge but was disappointed. The fish was overlooked and I'm guessing cooked in dripping as there was a strong taste and smell. Not my cup of tea unfortunately. View all feedback.

Popped by on a Friday to get fish and chips. Good portions freshly cooked and decent value. Had used 9 years earlier and would do so again

Experience a mix of reviews at this family-run chippy in Whaley Bridge. While some found the fish overcooked and chips dry, others praised the generous portions, friendly staff, and delicious food. From perfectly cooked chips to tasty fish fried in dripping, this throwback chip shop offers a cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. Whether you're craving a traditional fish and chip meal or looking for gluten-free options, Frydays delivers memorable dining experiences. Despite busy times and slow service, the dedication to quality and family ethos shines through. A great stop after a walk in the Peak District or for a satisfying meal.
