I had a wonderful experience with the fish and chips I ordered while vacationing in the area. They were not overly greasy, the fish was delicious, and the service was fantastic.

This restaurant is perfect for takeout or dining in. It's a great spot to treat yourself on a Friday after a tough week. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Be prepared to wait in line on Friday nights, but it's definitely worth it. Don't bother going anywhere else.

Frydays in Whaley Bridge is the top chip shop in the area for miles. You can always spot a great chip shop when there's a line, and at Frydays, there always is. The chips are tasty, the fish is cooked fresh to order, and there's plenty of variety to choose from. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’d given up going for fish and chips. The last good one, Fosters in Alderley Edge has gone rapidly downhill. So I took this recommendation warily. Like lots of things in life I was totally wrong. Fried in dripping the chips we’re faultless and the fish excellent. The staff speedy and friendly, this feels like a throwback in the best way. Go.
