Caffe Nero
Description
The Buxton location of Caffè Nero has received mixed reviews from customers. While some were disappointed with the tired decor, smelly toilets, and average drinks, others had a pleasant experience with friendly staff and efficient service, despite the peak time traffic. One customer even praised the staff for their excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Despite some negative feedback, loyal customers continue to visit the establishment monthly, appreciating the hot drinks, quick service, and unique origami decorations. While some customers have had a less than ideal experience, others find Caffè Nero in Buxton to be a consistent and enjoyable spot for a coffee or snack.

Called in Sunday Mother’s Day for a coffee , on first impression the cafe is dirty . Staff appearance wasn’t the best. Whilst there I used the toilet, no toilet paper and cleanlinesses to a poor standard. Told staff member on leaving her answer was ok. Won’t be back this is far the worse cafe Nero I have been to.
I adore this place. The coffee is superb and you can unwind with a book, laptop, or iPad. The staff is wonderful and attentive.
Staff were slagging off ex-staff members. Not being quiet about it at all. Floor manager or head barista, unsure of her position, was being incredibly disrespectful about previous employee’s, calling them names. She also rolled her eyes because we came in an hour before closing time. Rushed our drinks too. Store is very unclean, tables and floors were filthy and the bathroom was disgusting. Used to be a great cafe with friendly staff, now it’s run by people who think the highlight of the day is degrading others who left to find better jobs. Will never be coming back.
