Owners and servers are friendly, yet service is inconsistent: expect long waits, occasional order mistakes and unreliable phone/takeout. The interior is tucked-away and dated, but the genuine flavors make it worth seeking out for anyone craving real Vietnamese fare beyond typical fast-food options.

Very good food...clean... fast and veey nice friendly owners/servers....highly recommend. Nice to have something that isn't fast food or fried...especially if you have been sitting and driving all day!
Had authentic Vietnamese Buun in High Level, Alberta. Flavours were well balanced, and they will make it more authentic for me instead of a little deflavoured for the bland palettes of the locals. The quantity was a fair amount, but compared to a Viet restaurant in a major city in Ontario the prices were closer to the rest of Alberta at $20 head. The decor is hideous, and the interior is trashy and out dated, but the food was spot on. I will observe the 'chinese american buffet ' at some point, but it looked hideous and way too Western for me to bother with. This place is for authentic Vietnamese food hopefully High Level will figure out what that is and not be scared off by the pictures of General Tso 's chicken... please try something authentic and it will be an experience on par with a major urban centre.

5/5 for the food, everything was cooked well and taste was well balanced. The town badly needed this restaurant. The plates are filling for two people (add a side-dish if you have bigger appetites). The service in the restaurant was also good but when I called and ordered food the order was not received and I had to physically go there and order again. Wish they'd get their service up to mark and I'd definitely visit frequently. Editing this: just went and picked up some food and this is the 2nd time they're messing up my order. I ordered vermicelli and they gave me rice which is a gooey mess and has little to no meat. I wouldn't have complained if they at least gave me something edible. Extremely disappointed with the service.
