I have not visited all restaurants in High Level, but it's hard to imagine that there are others better than this. Being from the South (Edmonton : it seems a bit pricey, but it is probably normal for around HL. Food is tasty and presented well, with good sized portions. Staff are friendly, and the chef tries to be a bit innovative with the menu (lobster macaroni, Kobe beef burger that sort of thing . Dining room is... View all feedback.
What Ron R doesn't like about Mirage At Best Western:
Room was extremely disappointing , door lock took 5 min to gain entry, carpets were filthy, mattresses should have came with cards for a chiropractor, only positive things I can say was the bathroom was clean and reception service was ok. Skip the BW mirage in high level Alberta. View all feedback.
You have a window roof on one side that extends all the way to the restaurant so that you can actually see the beautiful sky while enjoying your meal. Both the entire lamb frame and the New York steak were grilled with perfect caramelization and they are made exactly as you wanted with the right portion of seasonal work. The texture of both is exactly what you would expect. Lobster fatuccine is exceptionally rich and creamy. There are many lobster pieces and they are moist and tasteful. It is best that pasta is hot enough to melt the generous part of the fresh parmesan cheese. On the bad side, baseball steak is a bit over boiled for medium (it is more like well made). The rice that comes with the Entrée is disappointed, it is so dry that it tastes as if it is not cooked. The shells are boiled, so all the shells were shrunk and dry. Overall, very friendly service. The table is set with the right amount of space so you really enjoy your dinner. The quality of the dishes must be more consistent. Lobster fatuccine as an example, the first and second time experience were heaven and hell. Only a few days apart, the fetters were over cooked and not freshly hot. The rich delicate cream sauce was superfluous oily and not creamy.

Yeah, it's the best around here.
Completely unexpected and delightful meal! We will post pictures, but they may not do it justice. From the warm and thick soup to the artfully plated caprese with vodka creme fraiche, balsamic reduction, cracked pepper and basil oil, every part of the meal had us smiling.
