The friendly waiters... read more 5 Stars – A Culinary Getaway to Greece! We visited the Akropolis restaurant in Hiddenhausen over the weekend – and it was simply wonderful! The friendly waiters greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in. The daughters and the lovely Andy, in particular, made us feel like we were among friends with their warm and welcoming manner. The food was simply sensational! Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and incredibly succulent – we 've never had better Greek food, not even in Greece. Every dish was a delight, and the value for money is unbeatable. The Akropolis is the perfect village Greek restaurant where you can not only enjoy excellent food but also a warm, family atmosphere. We 're already looking forward to our next visit – thank you for the wonderful evening!

That was disappointing, but when I... read more I wanted to eat a gyro pita, but unfortunately, I wasn't allowed on the terrace, as it supposedly belongs to the restaurant. That was disappointing, but when I took a closer look, I was glad I didn't have to sit there. It didn't look very inviting – the furnishings were old and unkempt, and the umbrellas were rotten. The overall ambiance seemed very run-down. It's a shame; it spoiled my appetite for the food.

As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted by the friendly waiters. The daughters and dear Andy, in particular, made us feel like we were with friends with their warm hospitality. The food was simply sensational! Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and so incredibly juicy – we 've never had better Greek food, not even in Greece. Every dish was a delight, and the value for money is simply unbeatable. The Akropolis is the perfect village Greek restaurant, where you not only get excellent food but also enjoy a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. We 're already looking forward to our next visit – thank you for the wonderful evening!
