Nelly's Taqueria Hicksville

I’m sorry but the food was not great. Ordered calamari and it was bland and the sauce was even blander. If that’s even a word. Ordered tostadas, they were awful. The taco shell was stale. I couldn’t even bite it. The chicken was cold. It wasn’t a authentic tostada at all. Not that I was expecting it but the bare minimum would of been nice. My wife ordered “chipotle wings” to her it taste like bbq. When asked they said chipotle bbq wings. Never heard such a thing. Drink was okay. Nothing spectacular. Please save your money and go else where. This isn’t it. The music was probably the only thing that was good. Honestly. If I could give no stars I would.

Under new management and changed name. The food was fantastic and our waitress maria was lovely. Vegetarian options: Yes vegan options but make sure you explain no sour cream.

I was suppose to get a chicken burrito and this is what came. Where did the potato’s come from. The place was a mess and the people were super unprofessional.

Just had nachos that were very good and two drinks. Drink was tasty but a bit shy on the alcohol especially for the price.

Ordered a birria burrito. It was okay-ish. The salsa had good flavor and the consume was not bad. The rest of it didn’t have much flavor though. General impression was grease, mush from the frozen crinkle fries and meh flavor.
