Wizard's Saloon - Hickory

Went with the girls after work. Had a blast. Cool bar to hang out in. I will definitely be going back.

It was closed when I pulled in, but I've heard they have done some renovations.

Great atmosphere and great music. Owner is super, super nice. But if you're a female, send a male to the bar for you. You'll sit there for 30 minutes while you watch every man that comes in after you get served before the bartender even thinks to ask if you want something, despite having money in your hand the whole time and trying to get her attention more than once. I've been here twice for the shows, different bartenders, and it's happened both times. I was sitting right beside the register they walked to several dozen times to pay for a male's beer but it's like they never even saw me even when I was trying to speak to them.

The wizard is a awesome and fun environment love the music and I meet new people everytime I go there and ofcousre awesome bands really awesome place.

My band,Lunacy Rain performed here for the first time on 3/18/17 in support of Silvertung. We were NOT disappointed! The staff was great and the sound man dialed us right in. We will be back!!!
