Hops Grapes
Description
Nestled in Hickory, this lively establishment boasts an impressive selection of beers, with plenty of options on tap for patrons to enjoy on-site or fill growlers. The atmosphere is inviting, featuring a cozy layout with ample seating, perfect for relaxing with friends. While the beer offerings shine, the wine selection disappointingly reflects standard grocery store choices. Despite some negative experiences regarding customer service, many visitors rave about the helpful staff and unique drink offerings. Those seeking a vibrant locale to unwind will appreciate this venue—though diners are advised to check for updates regarding gift card policies.

The restaurant has a greater focus on beer than wine, with an excellent selection of brews and a variety of options on tap. It looks like a pleasant spot to relax, featuring around five tables for four, plus some additional seating.
I absolutely loved this place! The staff were incredibly polite and made me feel right at home. I enjoyed my experience so much that I plan to bring some family members here...
We dropped by for a Wicked Weed tap takeover one Saturday afternoon, and it was fantastic! The selection was impressive for this event! Even though we were indulging in drinks...
A great spot for a relaxing experience, with a nice selection of beers and wines.
I received a gift card for this restaurant a few months ago, but I recently discovered that they sold the establishment and no longer honor gift cards. This means that my $50 gift card is essentially worthless. They wouldn’t even consider honoring half of it to keep my business, which is quite disappointing. I won't be returning. It’s frustrating that they don’t honor gift cards, and they mentioned posting about this on Facebook, but unfortunately, if people weren’t following them, they wouldn’t have known. I have a lot of friends who also dine here, so they’ve lost more than just my business. When I expressed that I wouldn’t be coming back, the woman I spoke to simply responded, “okay,” as if it didn’t matter to her.
