However, my partner encountered a few pieces of fat and a bit of gristle in his steak that he had to spit out. We chose to sit outside since it was chilly inside, but there was a broken glass bottle near our table, which was a bit concerning. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

The service w... read more Typically, the Chipotle in Hickory offers excellent customer service and food quality. However, during my recent visit, things didn’t go as usual. The service was lackluster, and it was clear that the staff wasn’t very enthusiastic about being at work. To top it off, I ended up with food poisoning (or at least I hope that's all it is), which means I'm starting my day off on a bad note. Please be cautious!

Overall, we found the food to be delicious, but my husband encountered some fat and gristle in his steak that he had to spit out after a few bites. We chose to sit outside since it was too cold inside, but there was a broken glass bottle next to our table, which was unfortunate. On a positive note, the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I've tried to give this restaurant multiple chances, but it seems they don’t care much about their customers. If you arrive less than an hour before closing time, don't expect to find much available, as they're often "out" of many items. The management here definitely needs improvement.

The service was not up to standard, and the staff seemed unmotivated. To make matters worse, I ended up with food poisoning—or at least I hope that's all it is—which has really affected my day.
