Charolais Steakhouse - Hickory

Charolais Steakhouse is an excellent place for an upscale dinner. Whatever the occasion may be, this is a fantastic place to celebrate! The steaks are remarkable and are worth the price. They have an extensive wine cocktail selection, and the local mixologist is excellent.

My wife and I came here for our third wedding anniversary. It was our first time dining in here and we were extremely pleased with the experience. The great customer service started before I even got to the restaurant. It was super easy to make a reservation online. I even emailed the restaurant the same day as my reservation to ask a couple of questions not expecting to get a speedy response or even a response at all. However about 30 minutes after sending the email they actually called me personally to answer my question and make sure I was satisfied with everything before coming in to dine in with them for the first time. The hostess that called me was extremely kind and caring and took at least 10 minutes or so to sit down and talk to me personally about what I expected out of my upcoming dining experience. That was going above and beyond the call of duty for sure. The food was absolutely amazing one of the best steaks I've ever had. I would highly recommend the prime rib. And the service from our waitress was almost too good if that's even possible. Our waitress was over the top kind and caring and was constantly at our table checking to see if we needed anything and to make sure we were enjoying our meal. This is definitely one of those restaurants where you get what you pay for. So expect to pay around $40 to $50 per person especially if you're ordering alcoholic beverages in addition to your meal. But it is absolutely worth it especially for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary. Very romantic atmosphere. It's a little noisy but that's just because it's such a small dining room so everyone is somewhat close to each other. But everyone seemed to be respectful of the other couples having their meal and kept the volume as low as possible. I would highly recommend Charolais Steakhouse.

Wonderful restaurant! Dined at on a military business trip and received the best service imaginable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Highly recommend dining here!

Charolais has truly taken a HUGE step upward with the new owners. The food is fantastic, even better than it was previously. And the interior of the place is now top notch!

This place was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish it was the best service, atmosphere, and by far the best steak we have ever tasted. My husband have been to some very nice places all over the country and little did we know this little , local steakhouse would be the best customer service experience we've ever had. Five stars all the way around. Please visit these kind people and enjoy some delicious food. Do not leave without a taste of the best cheesecake you'll ever eat as well.
