I arrived early and joined the line, but there was no social distanci... read more I ordered two Thanksgiving dinners online to pick up at the Hickory, NC location at 12:45. I arrived early and joined the line, but there was no social distancing as it was extremely long. Around 1:30, an employee approached me to ask about my order, even though I had previously shown my confirmation to another staff member who assured me that my food would be ready in just a few minutes. I finally received my order around 2:00, but it was missing the pie slices. This isn't my first disappointing experience with Bob Evans, and it will definitely be my last. I’m done with Bob Evans.

They were out of many items on the menu, forcing us to choose alternatives. I ordered the turkey and dressing, but it was only lukewarm. My boyfriend also found a long hair in his salad. Overall, it wasn't the best experience, and we likely won't be returning.

Once we were seated, it took around 30 minutes for someone to take our order, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. My meal was missing the sauce it was supposed to include, and the waitress seemed to have forgotten about us.

Just as we... read more Our experience at Bob Evans was quite disappointing. My partner and I waited about 5 to 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us at the host stand. Just as we were considering leaving, someone finally came to seat us. When we got to our table, it was very wet—though that wasn’t a big deal since we quickly wiped it down with napkins. However, it took another 5 to 10 minutes before a server approached to take our order, which I understand can happen sometimes. When the waitress arrived, she took only my drink order and completely ignored my partner, not even asking if he wanted a drink. When she brought out my iced coffee, I actually received a hot coffee instead. What bothered me was that she argued with me about the mistake, mentioning she'd had a similar mix-up with another customer recently, and even pointed to the menu while insisting she knew what I ordered. The whole interaction made me feel very uncomfortable, so we decided to leave. When we told the waitress we were leaving, she awkwardly asked, "Oh, where are you going?" which made the situation even more uncomfortable.

The staff is very welcoming, and the prices are comparable to other local restaurants. We truly enjoy Bob Evans and highly recommend it to everyone.
