Angus Steak House - Hickory

I don't get to the Hickory area but a few times a year but my first priority is always planning how I can maximize my opportunities to eat at the Angus! I love the Angus burgers, I could exist on them! But there is much more to the Angus than their burgers. The ribeye steak is the best I've ever had! Oh......they make a killer Rueben sandwich! Some of the finest corned beef (with a slightly smokey flavor), just the right type of cheese and saurkrowt, on a grill toasted bread best Rueben in North Carolina!!! Everything is prepared to order and every order is delivered with an Angus smile. This place reminds me of the bar named Cheers from the TV show. It's more than a food place. It's a friends and family place. I only visit a few times a year, but see many each trip that I met there on previous trips! It's also like a nostalgic walk into the past. You may catch yourself thinking, this is the way people enjoyed steaks n burgers before fast food. You remember, when a burger was a burger, when a steak was a delicacy, and where you were greeted with a smile and a desire to serve. They don't make em like this place anymore! This place was fabulous the group of people were the best ever and food was so good and fresh . I seriously didn't think that a place like this existed anymore Trust Me we will be back and with family

Steak was terrific and could not have had better service.Hands down best steak house and service.

We go to the Angus every Thursday.....love that place!! Love the girls....Kaylie and Toni always take good care of us.....awesome cheeseburgers....hamburger steak and Mark loves their hot dogs and the rueben!!

This is the way food is supposed to be, it's all good and the best steaks ever!
