Sarussi Cafeteria And
Description
Sarussi is a neighborhood Cuban spot praised for crisp, aromatic bread, tender meats and satisfying coffee; longtime fans rave about generous portions and a homey counter-service vibe. Experiences vary — attentive, friendly service and standout sandwiches sit alongside reports of dry fillings, overcooked bread, weak or overpowering sauces, unexpected charges, language friction, and occasional hygiene concerns. Prices strike some as high. Expect a casual, hit-or-miss local favorite where quality and service can depend on the visit.

I decided to come to this place based on google reviews. My family was craving Cuban streak sandwiches. We ordered 5 Churrasco sandwiches…their special sauce is not so special. Their special sauces pretty much destroyed the original Cuban taste. very disappointing. Prices are overly priced.$14 per sandwich. ? the quality wasn’t good. I recommend streak house.
The menu says one thing and when I called to place two Cuban sandwich orders was $43 ... Dejen el descaro Sarusssi !!
Probably the best sandwiches in all of Miami if you haven't eaten there you have to go and try it.Food: 5/5
After watching Man vs. Food on the Travel Channel, I was excited to try the Sarussi Original 16 sandwich for $11.64. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment! Lidia, the waitress, seemed irritated that I didn't speak Spanish, and thankfully, a young couple at the counter assisted me with my order. The bread had a nicely toasted crust, but it was otherwise flavorless. The smoked ham, baked pork, and mozzarella cheese were all dry, and the so-called secret sauce was nearly absent. Sorry, but I have to give Sarussi a definite thumbs down.
