Menu

A comprehensive menu of Slaley Hall from Hexham featuring all 9 dishes and drinks can be found here on the menu.

At Slaley Hall Brasserie, diners encounter a mixed bag of experiences. While breakfast shines with a commendable selection of locally sourced ingredients, lunch and dinner disappoint, often failing to justify the steep prices. Service is consistently praised, with staff members like James and Emily standing out for their attentiveness and charm. Unfortunately, food quality varies; some dishes emerge lukewarm or poorly executed, leading to frustration. Overall, while the atmosphere attempts to convey a premium dining experience, many patrons suggest exploring alternatives nearby for a truly satisfying meal. If you seek a comedic culinary adventure, this may suffice, but otherwise, proceed with caution.

I had a wonderful dinner last night at the Slaley Hall Brasserie. The food was excellent; I had a steak while my wife enjoyed a schnitzel, both paired perfectly with a delightful Merlot. However, what truly made our evening special was our server, Emily. She was a charming and attentive young lady who went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Very expensive for what you get. Poor quality food and my chicken came out slightly grey. The meal cost over £60 for just two mains and two drinks and we ordered from the cheaper options on the menu. If you are staying at Slaley Hall I recommend eating elsewhere such as in Hexham or in nearby Slaley village. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
