The food at this restaurant is delicious and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. The only thing I wish they offered was chicken wings as a starter, as they are only available as a main dish or part of a platter. Most of the staff are friendly, but I found a couple to be a bit abrupt and forgetful (I ordered drinks that never arrived). I appreciate being able to watch the chefs cook, and the restaurant... What Wilb2012 doesn't like about Wood Oven:
The quality of the food has dropped recently with the chicken tasting funny. We used to eat here a lot but now prefer other similar restaurants. We have also experienced problems with charging for meals to take away with prices being charged differently for the same meal from one week to the next. Went last night for dinner with a couple of friends and had a really good evening. Service was great and the food as always was very good. Really great Felafels and houmous. Had the Imam Byaldi, an aubergine dish which is delicious and 'melt in your ' mouth. Will be returning again soon!
Ordered over the phone, extremely rude. The second time ordering and both times were the same. Do NOT eat here if you are gluten free. They do not care and have no interest in trying to help you with what you can order. Meal came with couscous after stating gluten free. No people skills. Terrible let down as the food is nice. If only they could employ staff with better people skills.
Visited this beautiful restaurant last week with friends for lunch the food and service was amazing, will definitely be returning.
My first time in a Turkish restaurant and not the last for sure ! Food is absolutely delicious, especially grilled meats. Staff is kind and professionnal. Quick service also. All that for a very democratic price !
Excellent service and delicious food. A lovely evening out with friends. I had the mixed kebab as I couldn't make my mind up, it was presented nicely and tasted amazing.
