In the heart of the community, this pub offers a spacious and family-friendly atmosphere, enhanced by a lovely garden and a dedicated play area for children. Diners rave about the delicious food, particularly the Sunday roast, which has been praised for its quality and presentation. While recent management changes have sparked mixed reviews regarding staff treatment and service, many guests appreciate the attentive and friendly service from certain staff members. Additionally, the pub's ability to host large gatherings, such as family events and celebrations, highlights its potential despite some operational challenges. Overall, it remains a promising venue for casual dining.
Had a great Christmas party for my granddaughter. eating was amazing. the atmosphere was perfect. the manager couldn't do enough for us if everything is in order if we need something else. She was amazing. the amazing play area for the children was a god to send. they were busy and parents could enjoy the party. they will be recommending
Nice pub and bigger than I thought. the lunch menu didn't have much on it and my colleague was disappointed when she wanted a plower, but nobody there. the package we had was nice, but pub was very busy and service was slow.
We reserved a table of 14 people, it was a nice environment and nice staff. everyone's eating came to various times unfortunately and with that some problems with eating, but I have recognized that it was busy and the management tried it best to solve most problems. the place is accessible for wheelchair users and has disabled toilets, children's menu and baby changing rooms in disabled toilets, sunday roasts, live football, dogs allowed, has a beautiful garden back, smoker area, chefs, they take cash and card payments available, parking in the front.
I attended the Halloween party at this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic. It was very crowded, but it did not impact the service at all. In fact, when I accidentally broke a glass, Elias quickly cleaned it up with a smile. Thank you!
Manager Toni is rude to Staff and customers alike. The service level is poor due to untrained staff and regular staff turnover no doubt due to bad treatment by the Manager the Draught beer is poor no doubt due to lines not being cleaned. The toilets are a disgrace Finally always running out of different types of beers.Overall badly Managed with the exception of Paul who I’m lead to believe is the under Manager
