Established in 1969 by Giacomo and Marisa Harkin, The Restaurant is a historic landmark on the Hertfordshire and Greater London border. Housed in a charming 19th Century Tudor building that has been recently renovated while maintaining its original warmth and character, we pride ourselves on welcoming our customers to a lovely environment. Our menu features the best ingredients sourced from local markets, cooked simply using modern techniques inspired by old Italian style.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closing down the weekend we visited. The building and land were being sold to property developers. It's a shame because we have been dining here for 25 years and only have positive things to say about the food and service.
