I had a great experience at KFC, just like the other reviews here. However, I was shocked by the disregard for customer safety during the Covid restrictions. The female server was wearing her mask loosely hanging on her chin, covering only half of her mouth and not her nose. When she tried to give me food, I refused and asked for it to be placed in the takeout container. It was clear that the server was aware her mask was not properly worn, as it was not pulled down under her chin and was not securely in place.
The service at this restaurant was painfully slow, and it was frustrating to see Burger King serving customers quickly right next door. We ordered popcorn and drinks, one of which was bottled, but our food arrived after a long wait and was cold. This was the worst KFC experience in England.
Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant today was disappointing. I grabbed a quick snack before heading out, opting for the lunch box. The meal consisted of thin slices of overcooked meat paired with either undercooked or soggy fries. I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone. To top it off, the coffee was also very poor.
