Harry Ramsden's
Description
Despite some service issues and inconsistent quality, this motorway service restaurant offers tasty food at decent prices. While some customers experienced lukewarm dishes and poorly flavored coffee, others found the fish and chips exceptional and the portions generous. The challenge of understanding the server's accent was offset by the delicious food, making for an overall satisfying dining experience. Friendly service and fresh, cooked-to-order meals were highlights, with standout items like the cod bites and mushy peas drawing much praise. A mixed bag of reviews, but definitely worth a try for those passing through.

This was one of the best fish and chips I have had in a while. The chef is friendly and everything is cooked to order. The cod bites are delicious! The medium cod and chips with mushy peas are also excellent. Definitely worth a try!
Despite struggling to understand the server due to his accent and mask, we found the food to be surprisingly delicious. The prices were a bit high for a service station restaurant, but the portion sizes were generous and the flavors were enjoyable. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.
Food was not hot, and the breakfast not as advertised as what you would receive on the poster. No drink included for my son other than tea or coffee so we had to pay £1.75 for a small bottle of orange juice, and the coffee was absolutely awful Seriously unimpressed wished we had not bothered to be honest
I can sympathize with the current challenges faced by cafes, but the terrible cheap plastic knife and fork provided made it incredibly difficult to cut anything. This was very frustrating and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable breakfast experience.
