The quality of some of the meat, notably the lamb, i... read more I have been a regular at Avani since it opened under new ownership sadly, standards appear to have slipped. The quality of some of the meat, notably the lamb, is no longer as good some dishes are now more sauce than meat. The service which has always been slow, partly because I believe they cook dishes from scratch has deteriorated become casual arrogant. A pity because there is such a shortage of decent restaurants in Radlett.

I ret... read more I went there twice in one week. First time two females and we had delicious starters. We enjoyed it and had great service. The peshwari man was delicious. I returned with two friends on Saturday and our experience was less good. They had a big party and so understandably they had less time. We had pompodums rather than starters and so judged on mains and veg. The vegetable portions were too small and we wished we had ordered more food-very unusual for an Indian where one usually over orders! The peshwari was not nearly as nice as earlier in the week. Overall my second visit was disappointing.

This time I requested for a chicken Bhuna which wasn't on the menu and the chef kindly made from scratch, despite being really busy in the kitchen, the flavours of all dishes we've tried have been delicious- service is also really good. It is a little pricey but it's a fine dining curry restaurant and not to be compared with your normal take away!

This time I asked for a chicken bhuna that was not on the menu and the boss kindly made out of the scratch, despite really busy in the kitchen, the flavors of all the dishes we tried were delicious service is also really good. It is a little expensive, but it is a fine dining room curry restaurant and not to compare with your normal way!
