Carpool - Herndon

I generally do not do reviews after just one visit just like I don't fall in love after one night and some hand stuff but there is something about Carpool that's quite special and I I'll make an exception. Friends and I often visit Spider Kelly's for pool and a drink or two, but decided on Carpool last night because we wanted to avoid the crowd. It was definitely a good decision. Very cool car themed bar with decent prices and plenty of pool table and other games to have fun. Pool tables are charged extra per hour.

Nice place. Friendly staff. I tried Fried pickles and veggie tacos and they are good. Several years ago they used to be open for lunch time. Hope they survive pandemic and bring back old schedule.

The wings here are awesome and would come back again to have some more. We ate the dry rub Cajun seasoned wings. The beer selection though wasn?t as great. I tried two beers that my gf had tasters for and didn?t like them. I had the Orange Empress from Crooked Run Fermentation (local brewery in Sterling, VA) that was delicious. It?s a really good example of what a sour should taste like.

It's not really visible. Nor is it clear what it is. Even though it says what it is on the sign. I enjoyed my time here and if I'm back in the area I'm going to be back. Fried pickles are good.
