What a great seafood restaurant and a great venue. Tried the gator bites, crab cakes and shrimp, all were cooked well and seasoned to perfection. Service was ok, took forever to get drinks and food even though it wasn't that busy. However, the food more than made up for it.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Durward Dach doesn't like about Crossroads Seafood:
We love local places. But seafood is hard to get right. When frozen then overcooked it can be rough. Oysters turn mealy and the shrimp had a texture that was at once tough and chewy.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.
Overall great experience. We went to listen to live music and try the food. We had a party of 5 and had reserved a table so there was no wait. It was quite busy possibly due to the band. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one was very good. We tried gator bites, gator roll ups, gator egg rolls, boiled shrimp, mahi plate, chicken tenders, a couple side salads, and a few drinks. Service was great. The only “complaint” was the gator bites were a bit tough. The other gator dishes were great though. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. This was our first visit so we did order more items than we would normally so next trip should be more like a normal dinner price. We will definitely be back.
Our waitress was the sweetest thing this side of the Mississippi! They accidentally rang one of our meals wrong and they made it right and then some. It wasn’t a huge deal, but she brought us all desserts too. Every thing on the menu that we ordered was delicious and we didn’t have a single crumb left from what we ordered. The gulf shrimp and grits was one of the best things I’ve had in the south. Thanks for taking good care of us!
Always a good meal. Small country location with great food, cold drinks, patio or indoor dining. The full bar offers a great relax. Bands playing great music.Parking: Plenty of on location parkingWheelchair accessibility: Flat surface from car to dining
It's a very nice spot with a great vibe. The waiter knew his business well. The food all had a good taste, but some of the portions were a little small. Otherwise, an all-around great experience.Food: 4/5
