I visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed with the hot and fresh food. The chips and salsa were delicious. We tried the menudo, which was lacking hominy but had large chunks of tasty meat that made up for it. The dish came with a generous plate of fixings. The customer service was outstanding, especially from the friendly teenage boy who seemed to be assisting his parents. View all feedback.

A taste of authenticity! Great little restaurant if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine and decor. Food was great, as well as the service. I will come here again and again.
Fantastic restaurant with plenty of parking behind it on Prospect. If you're craving a simple, no-frills Mexican/Tex-Mex meal and you're from Southern California, this is the place to be! The service is excellent, and I enjoyed two delicious shrimp tacos, chips and salsa, and left a $2.00 tip. From ordering in person to leaving took only 10 minutes. The total price was $8.00. I absolutely loved it.
La Paz #2 is one of the best places for authentic Mexican cuisine! We have been loyal customers for years and have never had a disappointing meal. The staff is fantastic and always provides excellent service.
We love this little dive joint. Great food and nice people. Parking is terrible on Aviation though. But this is one of a few go-to spots for Mexican.
