Iona Wines
Description
Iona Wines sits on a beautiful Cape Dutch estate near Gordon's Bay, offering scenic tastings in a charming room with vintage VW Beetles and a small art gallery. Knowledgeable hosts share the farm's history while guests enjoy peaceful views; tastings cost 50 ZAR. Wines are enjoyable though considered a bit pricey by some. Visitors should note the remote, long dirt-road access and occasional lack of signage or staff availability—confirm opening hours before traveling.

This is a wonderful spot to savor exquisite wines while taking in the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views. You might even catch a glimpse of some fantastic vintage cars, such as a 1953 VW Beetle.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience in your winery. Karen was very friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed your Chardonnay and we will definitely be back.
Really beautiful setting, with interesting stories of Iona's name and history, told by the daughter and sommelier Sophie. And the the wine is really enjoyable too, if a little on the pricey side.
Beautiful estate with a wine tasting costing 50ZAR. The wines (per bottle) were quite pricy for the quality so we ended up not buying anything. In the tasting room there is a small art gallery with beautiful pieces
