Reviews summary
Nestled in charming Herman, this restaurant offers good service and location with delicious food. The Bavarian pretzel and beer cheese starter is a hit, while the pork schnitzel and hamburger are standout entrees. Prices are a bit high but worth it for the quality. Enjoy a flight of brews, especially the Midnight Whistle. The seafood spatzel and cheese is a must-try. The cozy interior and attentive staff make for a great dining experience. Don't miss out on the crab cakes and Seafood Spätzle and Cheese. Overall, a fantastic choice for a meal in Hermann.

All the food was made well and was tasty! Every beer on the beer flight was baseline but brewed well. The menu prices were $4-5 more than they should be, and affected the overall value. Overpriced seems to be a Hermann thing. Most menu items were betterfor a lunch menu. The hours are strange here, so be sure to check times. Last call for food is 7:30, or 6:30 on Sundays.
Added the restaurant to my list when researching for a long weekend trip. I was a little disappointed they were out of the park schnitzel, but the seafood spatzel and cheese definitely made up for it. It was amazing. We also split the sausage appetizer, which was also very good. Our bartender was a mixology master and very attentive and fun. Loved the inside decor, which was leftmostly original from the mill. Great experience and I would recommend going.
Ate at this restaurant last night as it was one of the only places open on a Tuesday evening. Very glad we did! Relaxing and cozy atmosphere that was industrial yet quaint. Service was spot on as well! The appetizers were wonderful and so were the mainentrees. We tried the potato pancakes and toasted ravioli followed by the BBQ chicken and schnitzel. Definitely check thisplace out if you are in Hermann.
Fantastic service, if you are a dark bier fan you must try the Midnight Whistle it was fantastic. Enjoyed appetizers of soft pretzels and bier cheese. The pork schnitzel was average at best. The sausage appetizer if you have a small appetite will bemore than enough food. Be prepared the red cabbage sauerkraut and German potato salad are sweet.
