I drove 45 minutes to try the chicken based on the reviews, and it was absolutely worth it! The pieces were large, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The pickled beets are made on-site and are delicious. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
I enjoy the Silver Dollar. The food is very good down home American food. It is run by a nice family and is a favorite with locals from the Swss, Hermann, Owensville area.. Part of the reason I enjoy the place is that it is quirky sometimes you need to be patient and enjoy the experience and sometimes things click right along. Always get a chuckle when Mattie has an arm load of dishes and pulls the door to the kitchen open with her foot. Just another good American experience.
