What jeminplymtree doesn't like about The Wheatsheaf Inn:
We were recommended the Wheatsheaf as being dog friendly. It doesn’t look that great from the outside and perhaps without the recommendation I would normally have driven straight past. But had I done that we would have missed out on a great lunch with all 4 of us returning empty plates. Main courses and desserts were excellent. Large traditional pub atmosphere, the personal is really friendly and cannot do enough to provide a great experience. very clean and tidy, well maintained. eating is of great quality and the portions are also great. there is a large selection of food for Sunday caraby and it is also cheap. well a visit for a family dinner or those who want a good meal on their own faust.
My wife and I got a takeout carvery on Sunday, the staff were as fantastic as ever and the food was soooo good .we both highly recommend eating here, the carvery is in our opinion the best we have had, well done and thank you to all the staff, see you soon
All the staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming. Can not recommend the food especially the Sunday carvery enough. Just make sure you book! Thank you ladies.
First visit here. Lovely cosy pub. Good varied menu. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food excellent but portions extremely large. Would definitely recommend.
