I was here in the 80s. at the time, the house was one of the best temperaments in our hospitable. This small hotel is well suited for an overnight stay. The rooms are small but sufficient. The road is clear, however. Breakfast was a little lazy
On a business trip in June 2020, I made another stop at Bonsmann's court. And fortunately nothing has changed: Wonderful Landhotel resp. Holy world atmosphere, picturesquely situated with a view of the green! The family-run house has history and flair and even if the rooms are very small, these are very clean and clean. On the beautiful courtyard terrace the food was again a class for itself, with a fair value for money. Operation that, attentive, never intrusive. The house is highly recommended! After my first review in 2017, we were a couple more times to eat in Bonsmann's farm. Yesterday again and unfortunately this will have been the last Ma(h)l there in the truest sense of the word. The ambience continues and in the charm of the 70s. There are no objections to these. The courts were a different subject. With Kassler, Mettwurst and Bratkartoffeln we ordered green cabbages from the season ticket. The cash register? Yes, the cashier was rather marginal to our taste. Overgrown by the structure would still be engaged. Extremely high smears/fat contents, the proportion of lean meat was more likely to be 2 % in fear. When I shop at Metzger Kassler, I'm asked if I'd rather buy more fat cash or leaner cash. My tendency goes to the latter. If served in a court like the above mentioned fat cashier, then an information would be for the guest we do not use this dish badly with lean cashiers and would then either stop me from ordering or on order just inform me that I am on the cashiers. And it is not about negotiating a price reduction of the court, but simply about the fact that grease, as it was served there, cannot be tasted and not eaten. The Mettwurst was very salty. The green cabbage was okay. The hot plates, my green cabbage still lurks. Two years ago the presentation was appealing and the court overall round and the cash register of good quality. 17.90€ for a court that does not take this into account, but a high-priced amount. Not again. This time there is a lot of air up there and I would not recommend the locality because of our experience during this visit, we will not appear there again for food.
We wanted to eat delicious geese and have a hard piece of meat with slim gray skin. For this purpose, lumps from the spawn and undefined sauce. The recommended wine was good, but when we saw the price after that, the mouth was open. The boss had no excuse for our obvious disappointment, but a reason that this is not possible for two people. Then we got a glass of geseschmalz as a repair. Looks disappointing!
