Petals offers very good prices for a hotel, with a reasonable breakfast menu and a great lunch selection. The paddle melt I had was possibly the best I've ever tasted. Although the hotel has a full-service restaurant, it was closed on Sunday due to COVID-19 restrictions, but I was informed this will change soon. 4.5 Yes, it 's just a hotel bar with a short menu but service, drinks, food and environment were all great. With no negatives, Petals deserves a high rating. The Buffalo and chicken parmesan wings, pork potstickers, patty melt on rye and Guinness fish sandwich were all unexpectedly satisfying and surprisingly good. The drinks had a good pour and the new bartender helped us with suggestions to make a special cocktail more personal. The Getaway switched a white rum instead of the sweet brand; the Cosmpolitan replaced vodka for gin; Long Island Ice Tea was fine as listed. This space is nothing spectacular but it 's not meant to be. It 's low key and just right whether seated at the darkly lit bar or up one level in the brighter table section.
