popped in again for a great meal overlooking the duck pond. Service and food great as always. Excellent for Weddings etc and there always seem to have big tables for Birthdays etc. A very popular place so I suggest you book. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mallard Duck:
We went for lunch on a Saturday. On arrival we walked into a stale smelling restaurant. We host wanted to seat us inside but we chose to sit on the deck overlooking the lake. The view was nice looking at the lake, ducks, geese, alpacas and sheep wandering around. The menu was ok and the food was nice. The service was fast and the meals came out quickly. There is lots of competition in the valley so I probably wouldn'... View all feedback.

As a repeat client I felt in necessary to fianally do a review. We decided on saturday to do a sunday lunch at the mallard hoping for the enclosed verandah for its warmth and views. a quick call to check for a free booking is advised as we were told to come early as post 12.30pm was fully booked. so we did. got a great table. service was as always smiling and attentive with several visits from the owner through the day. entrees we shared and all were excellent. my fillet was perfect, my partners garlis prawns made her smile and the lamb cutlets were tender as can be. topped of with sticky date pudding and an afagahto(sp) with big coffees.only down side, alain's jokes! but he laughs xxsee you again soon
Had a great lunch on the deck AGAIN. Food was excellent and the view is magnificent. Alain was his usual friendly self and Julie ensures the food is great. What a good combo. Keep it up
It was an extremely busy restaurant, with the car park over flowing. Thought it might be nice to check out for lunch today. The Owner of the restaurant was really very welcoming and showed us to a table immediately on entering the restaurant. We got a nice spot overlooking the water, with the ducks and water fountain. Very relaxing and serene. Staff were very attentive. Mains took a while to come out, mainly I would imagine because it was so busy. The Lamb shank and the garlic prawns were nice, no problems there, but nothing that either of us could rave about. The Bruchetta too was not bad. Did not stay for desert, wanted to give another new spot a try along the West Swan Road. May give this a try another time.
We went here yesterday .the sun was out the view is great.the food and service were great.the confi duck is best in perth.
