What Jet K doesn't like about Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse:
This is an old customs warehouse(? that has been adaptively reused as a shopping space and event center (upper floors . It also seems quite trendy with a predominantly young local crowd when I visited on a weekday. However, I felt that most things were quite expensive for a budget tourist like me. Great area to see the holiday lights and try out different food stalls. But even on a weekday there were a lot of people.
Chill vibes. There will always be some or the other event taking place here. Many food stalls and a variety of cuisine. Nice place to just enjoy the view and relax with some good food.
A beautiful old structure German architecture, most likely. Hosting events around it. The sight of this red bricks building is a treat to eyes and it attracts you.
The area between the two warehouses is huge and during hanabi season this place get packed with people because you can get a good view and there will be shops set up in the middle. It's currently closed due to renovations for few months iirc. So you wont be able to go inside.
It's a Historical tourist place. Before it was a shipping activity center. Now Government turns it into tourist spot. Inside have plenty shopping centre, Restuarant. Good place for family.
