This is the best Chinese food in the area. The food is fresh, tasty, and money well spent. Most of the Chinese restaurants in hempstead are worst than this restaurant. Yes I’ve tasted better Chinese food but for this side of town it’s one of the best. View all feedback.
What EddyGordo21 doesn't like about No. 1 Great Wall:
I like the sesame chicken. But the uncle Ben's rice is a no go for me. The egg roll is really good though. Also, I asked for an egg in my rice and they didn't give it to me but they charged me 11 dollars for the food.If you use a card, they add another dollar View all feedback.
The food used to be great I don’t know what is going on for the past year. The chicken is not as good as before it old ,tasteless and dry.The owner is very nice and friendly I hope they improve Parking: It fine
The food at Great Wall is deliciously fantastic. There are several chinese food spots in the area but I dare not waste my money with those places nor deprive my taste buds of the wonderful flavors Great Wall offers. Matter fact today, 2/15/22, I wanted the spare rib tips meal w/ fries& extra barbecue sauce from Great Wall but they are closed on Tuesdays and I was so hungry but passed 2 other restaurants that sell rib tips and returned home. I have no problem waiting until Great Wall is open.
Nasty first time coming to this side of ny and I decided to eat here they use instant white rice threw soy sauce on it and called it pork fried rice . Disappointed no wonder why the lady packaged up the order so fast . Worst Chinese food I ever purchased decided to take a bite and it get worse than it looks DONT EAT HERE
