Panera has become a popular stop for casual dining, celebrated for its comforting offerings and friendly service. Many patrons rave about the Bistro French Onion Soup and the Classic Grilled Cheese paired with Creamy Tomato Soup, with users appreciating the rich flavors even in modest portions. However, experiences vary widely, as some customers report frustrating waits and order inaccuracies. Instances of unhelpful service and unaccommodating staff have emerged amid positive interactions. Overall, while Panera maintains its reputation for tasty comfort food, inconsistency in service and order fulfillment remains a concern for some diners.

This was a really awkward and chaotic Panera to eat at. Also very time consuming. The cashier seemed new and probably should have shadowed under someone a bit longer for training. She didn 't know what the options were for kids meals sides and wanted meto ask the food servers once the meal was made. She told me she thinks the total was about $18.77, while I was looking atthe screen and it said total $20 something. She had to ask for help on how to ring up my gift card and so I decided to ask thesecond girl what the total was because of how she was guessing my price to pay, and it was in fact over $20 like the screensaid, not what the cashier was guessing...it probably took well over 5 minutes to order and pay while people were standingbehind me in line to order. The whole place looked like it was under construction and spotted some pretty big hazards. I 'm notsure how the place was actually open for business. Paint spots were everywhere like something was in the process and the wholebench seat was lifted up, [I took pictures but google doesnt allow me to post but they are on yelp; tile was showing wherecarpet used to be and the baseboards were peeled back. Not only did it look ghetto but I 'm pretty sure these are some sort ofhealth/safety standards. The original cashier was nice enough to clean our table and pick up the plates after which I don 'treally count as extra or great service but really the whole process and experience could have been A LOT better. And nice doesntpay my bills but efficiency and great service is why I go out to eat. Also over $20 JUST for a you pick 2 brocolli cheddarsoup mac cheese plus a kids mac and cheese is crazy. No drinks or any extras just a kids mac (which appears to be the samesize as adult mac) plus the 2nd mac n cheese and the soup and that 's over $20. That 's pretty crazy, Panera.

I don 't know about you, but when I see a name like Panera BREAD, I expect a bakery styled establishment with bread as the mainstay. Not the case at Panera Bread. The mainstay there are sandwiches, soups, salads and sweets. If you look at otherreviews, people seem to go there for the meals, and not much for the BREADS. I 've been there 3 times; the 1st time to pick upsome ciabatta rolls. no can do . The 2nd time I wanted to buy some nice burger buns. Not available, but brioche rolls workedout. 2 days ago I wanted to do gourmet chili dogs with premium sausages and all the fixings. Nope, no hot dog type rollsavailable. The associate suggested a French baguette. Reluctantly I agreed. I got home and the baguette was stale. The crust wasrock hard and the interior was also way too firm for fresh. My chili dogs were difficult to eat to say the least. Panera should,in my humble opinion, change their name or do a little better with their bread selection.

Today I had the worst experience. I ordered rapid pick up. Time for pick up was 10:22. I arrived at 10:30. At 10:50 I politely asked if my order was still in process. She said yes we are busy, I said I understand, it's okay you can cancel. She said no,I'll get yours right now. I said thank you. I leave at 11:05. I drive to my scheduled destination. I open the bag. I have myhalf turkey blt (more like a qtr) my small Mac and cheese. No where to be found is my crunch bagel!! ???? now I'm frustrated. I tried calling twice, they just let it ring then hang up. Now what? Guess I'm out a bagel and 30 minutes late to work.

I ordered what I thought would be a steak sandwich in a sense. crescent sub roll steak and white cheese but it seem like the meat was not steak whatever meat they used was definitely not enough inside the bread, my first time here I was kind ofdisappointed. PS very expensive I paid over $17 for a drink small bag of chips and the steak rolled white cheese for one person.

Really good panera always gets my order correct and makes the food correctly. If you want the spinach and artichoke souffle than you have to go when they first open they sell out fast they are really popular with the elderly community.
