On a very warm day in early September, this was just the right place to cool down with their incomparable Wiener Eiskaffee while enjoying the view into the hills towards the Säntis and getting tips from our table neighbors residing in the vicinity as to different routes to drive in this hilly countryside. An enjoyable place with good, friendly service.

The view is great, service is chipper, and the food gives you plenty of energy for whatever you decide to do afterward. The Coupe Peche Melba was delicious, garnished with roasted almonds. Prices are high, but that's to be expected in out-of-the-way locations.
