Great change after Christmas! Appropriate tasting with Mediterranean flavors. They were “social” and shared. I liked it very much. Tallisouleh in this country! View all feedback.
What Sebastian A doesn't like about Boulevard:
Good service, reasonable (price 30-60€ per person), great food yet simple, very nice interior design, okay location however not the best view. In recommend the Sea Bass with the tomato and cheese salad, it is an unusual yet delicious combination. I recommend coming here to eat. View all feedback.
Super trendy restaurant with incredible food. I'm truly obsessed with their menu and wish I could've ordered the entire thing because they're serving up my favorite ingredients. Even the cocktail menu was ~swanky~ and I wanted everything on it. Get a cocktail! One of the people I was dining with doesn't drink alcohol but a lot of the drinks are marked to indicate that they can be made in mocktail form so there's no excuse for not ordering a drink!! The concept is that you order a bunch of dishes as a table to share. I started with the white anchovies with crisp bread. Holy get this!!! It's under the snack menu though so it isn't the easiest dish to share so order a couple...for yourself and then a few more for your table. You won't regret ordering this. We also got a order of hummus for the table which was good but you need to order pita too because it doesn't come with the hummus. If you think you don't need pita for your hummus please think again. Their pita is heavenly and I was scarfing it down like a kid in a candy shop. The pita is another must order, even if you don't get the hummus. We also shared the hummus but I don't really remember what it tastes like but it wasn't bad. For entrees, my sister and I split the lamb and the chicken. The lamb is beautiful, the chicken was flavorless. The lamb had this rich heat, crunch from the nuts, and an unnecessary sausage. The chicken supposedly had saffron but that was not detectable. It was also just so huge, I think I had an entire chicken on my plate I do not know how I was supposed to even come close to making a dent in it. I don't know what happened in dessert. I think we thought this sharing menu concept was still the vibe, but it seems like the tapas sizes were swapped out for hors d'oeuvres because damn was the lemon pie tiny. We got one very small plate which we were taxed with divvying up among four people. I wish we each just ordered one dessert because the desserts are bite-sized at best. All things considered, this is a pretty memorable menu and a superb dining experience in Helsinki.
Came here for a company team dinner. Our host ordered the tasting menu for us so everything was a set menu. The cocktails before dinner were really good. Service was excellent. I really enjoyed the food. The flavors were exotic, well balanced and very good. I didn't care for the beef tartare, but not because it wasn't well prepared. This was my first time trying it and it's just not my thing. My colleagues liked it. I really enjoyed the restaurant and plan to come back!
