I say "surprisingly" only because I wasn't quite sure what I was going to get from a German restaurant advertising Argentinian steaks (as only a part of the men... read more I say "surprisingly" only because I wasn't quite sure what I was going to get from a German restaurant advertising Argentinian steaks (as only a part of the menu) - my steak was not cooked the same way as, for instance, at Rancho's in Amsterdam which prides itself on being 'authentic'. Nonetheless, I asked for a steak and enjoyed what I got. I suppose, if anything, it was a bit 'civilized' compared to the slightly more fatty steaks I like in Amsterdam. However, it was tasty and cooked nicely (not too much) and the salad that came before it was crisp and fresh. I was also provided with a nice red wine to accompany and so my 4 stars are based on that sole meal, which was very reasonably priced, I should add. I'd go back.

The service lady was very friendly, but everything took a little longer because the restaurant was well visited and was allowed to serve you alone. The meat quality was great and was accordingly in the higher price range. There are various steaks on the map, which are usually quite rustic with baguette. The supplements cost extra. I therefore do not give 5 stars because we missed a baguette at the steak, where we ordered an additional supplement in the case of Pommes. I believe if you order additional pages and pay for it, not only the original supplement, in which case the baguette can leave.

Wedges were good too. Service fast and friendly. Location central, not too scenic but overall nice place.
