Sachsenstube - Heidenau

Short review – you will probably find complete criticism from 13.08.2018 at tripadvisor.deThe “Sachsenstube” is part of the hotel “Reichskrone” in Heidenau, a city (sic! in Saxony between Dresden and Pirna, whose reputation is not ordered to be the best, but in which people with a democratic sense also live. The name of the hotel is not intended to express a world view, but (hopefully only the supposedly more than 100 years old tradition of the house.The interiors are neat and do not give rise to complaint or euphoria. The same applies to the outside area: tables and chairs do not quench, but do not invite to dwell, fulfill their essential purpose and are practical. There is still clear air up here, as in total with the entire terrace design.The waiting times were acceptable overall. Otherwise, I usually felt good at all waiters, even though the service was partly occupied for urgent tasks.As the main beer, the “Sachsenstube” threatens with Wernesgrüner Pils, but also offers other beer specialties at reasonable prices (0.5 max. € 3.90. The choice of very inexpensive wines is sufficient.The standard menu with very moderate prices is pleasantly manageable, but not quite understandable for me in some points, which is why I have made a little hard to find the right one for me.I finally asked for the house pan with pork medallions, Rahmchampignons and roast potatoes (13,90 €) after I had chosen to judge the original cheese. It may be that the roast potatoes may have at some point proved the state “kross”. But they lost them lately when they had absorbed the entire liquid from the plum in themselves on their way from the kitchen to my place. It's not much better for the Champignons. Except for a well roasted piece, the meat was not completely dry or even dead, but the heat of the stove was either too long or too intense. I missed a little fresh supplement, like e.g. a summery cucumber salad.In the case of espresso, too much was in the cup, and the Crema.Sensationell is the offer of spirits and fires. Most for extremely cheap 5,90 €/4cl, except for a vodka from the washer (9,90 € and the brand of blackcurrants from the Haas for 9,80 €, worth every cent. Since this rarity is otherwise not found anywhere, the high percentage represents the unique feature of the hotel restaurant. 40 € I left the Sachsenstube quite satisfied overall and do not want to exclude a return visit.

Restaurant is highly recommended for Dresden visitors, very nice staff, the food we had 3 different dishes all were very good home cooking at fair prices. The ambience is nice and simple.And above all they knew themselves with GLUTENFREIER KOST, there was an extra menu. SUPER, keep going.

You can just praise it, tested several times and always sat after home. Price performance is overwhelming. You just have to recommend the restaurant.

Arrived after a long journey with my brother and hungry! It had to be remedied. The decision was quick, as my brother always wanted to visit the restaurant Sachsenstube on the side of the street and the sleek weather did not lud any city walk. Previously, the website checked with menu, fine, already selected! So we had no parking problems, with the hotel and restaurant having enough own parking for those arriving by car. Ambiente The restaurant Sachsenstube is housed in the Hotel Reichskrone and we have entered the restaurant through the conservatory and, after welcoming, we chose a table in the conservatory. Both outside and inside very simple. There were 8 rattan tables with 4 comfortable rattan chairs each. The tables were covered with sand yellow or dark red table runners, cutlery, paper napkins and a candle in red glass. The bright flowing floor and the white walls caused a quite cold and cool atmosphere through the 3 modern and very bright ceiling lights, although the conservatory was pleasantly tempered. For candle light dinner not so beautiful, which was made at 2 tables incl. 3 times candlestick and some decoration. Good, but not a feel-good atmosphere. Therefore only 3 stars. Service We were operated by 2 women in black blouse and black trousers and a master in blue shirt and black trousers. All friendly and also quite attentive, when all the tables were occupied at the end of our visit, it took a little longer until empty glasses were noticed or realized that we would like to pay. But everything is cleanly coordinated and correct. Payment of the invoice including tipping by EC card was also possible without any problems by wireless card reader. Solid performance. Four stars. Menu Already checked on the website and discovered a few detail differences on the handwritten map in the brewery folder. In addition to various beverages, open and bottled wines, the card includes various dishes: soups (including Soljanka, small items (e.g. Panned Camembert, sausage meat, salads, vegan, home cooking (e.g. Strammer Max, pasta dishes, meat dishes of chicken, pork and beef, pan dishes, fish dishes, desserts. It is noted that many dishes are marked with reference to flavor enhancers, antioxidants or similar additives. Well, you're so honest. However, you can also see that not everything can be 100% fresh. Beverages After a very short waiting period (feeling only a few seconds came: Wernesgrüner Pilsener (0.4L to 2,90€, 0.25L to 2,20€, Coca Cola light (bottle 0,33L to 2,80€, pineapple juice (0.2L to 2,10€). The drinks were placed directly on the table runner without the usual cover. Of course, there are spots, but if you change the runner... Eating Now for the most part of the evening, the food. After a short waiting period of just 15 minutes (we were among the early guests of the evening 18:45: Rumpsteak (300g with herbal butter, bacon beans and roast potatoes (17,90€ : Supplied including steak knives). Ordered in English and almost so get. Inside almost ****, could have been a little more juicy, but it was already well hit. The meat was good, fried with fat margin. Uniform and quite delicate. Beans, bite-resistant, well seasoned and with ham cubes (which probably filled the additive list. The scavenger thin and delicate, the panade unfortunately somewhat softened. The champignons were fresh, unfortunately the sauce was not quite. It tasted good. The fries on the outside crispy, sufficiently salted. Solid. 3.5 stars. The portion sizes were sufficient, unused assistance was dispensed with. Basic solid bourgeois cuisine. There are 4 stars from me. Cleanliness Everything very clean and tidy. Toilet was not visited. Four stars. FAZIT Good food, good kitchen, trained service. Natural restaurant on a good level. price performance fits. A recommendation for the evening sound.
