the family-run restaurant is a unique location in the lower street. I spent an evening with many friends. we felt good in the evening. the service was friendly and courteous, the weine top. the restaurant and its kitchen are excellent, the prices fair. the interieur is indescribable and still a spectacle for itself. a big praise to this masterful performance, the great dj, the family atmosphere, the security in plann... What Susann Lenz doesn't like about Pop:
the appetizers were so terrible and made us bad that we asked to cancel the main dishes we ordered. as they were already prepared in the kitchen, we offered to be for one of two. the owners did not agree and instead called the police... and this is the short version of a very unpleasant longer story View all feedback.
I'll go by the pop every time I visit the old town. the owner family is so warm and always has a few nice cakes for one, even if the load is full of breaking. my secret tip are the self-made liqueurs ;-) the extraordinary design (where have you ever got a car hanging on the deck)? and the dj to later hour make the concept perfect for me. the publikum is mixed colorful and the transition from restaurant to bar could not be more flowing. I feel unbelievably well there and can only recommend looking past the pop. I'll be back!
Super restaurant and bar with nice service. at the weekend really recommended at a visit in heidelberg.
The first time here and immediately pleasantly surprised. very friendly reception, nice talks and the service I felt as professional and pleasant. I felt more like I ordered a beer with friends. at the second visit, this has confirmed and I feel comfortable there. the price of beer is higher than in the western-fälische provinz, but this seems more to be due to the situation in the heart of heidelbergs. I will be more often there and try out the kitchen soon.
We were three in the pop in heidelberg on the lower road. the bar itself is very nice and the ambiente is pleasant. However, this quite good impression was undermined by the bartender (!).What happened? I ordered a big wine (3.80€), but I was wrongly brought a big pils (4.80€). After the waitress took me off (I gave 4.50€ incl. drinking money) the bartender came to me a little later in the truest sense of the word and almost demanded another euro from me with the bitterest miene vehement. he insisted on his opinion that I had ordered "a pils". I then paid him to avoid a miserable long discussion, another 50 cent (because I pointed to the drink money and made him happy too).I think such a behavior is absolutely wrong at the place! the customer is king and I would have expected an apology in every case, because I finally got the wrong beer. in front of everyone - and much more important - but the demand for the empathy is quite ridiculous. there was also no word of apology, but merely accuse almost as if I had deliberately tried to press the price. you can regulate it much more friendly. conclusion: we will not go there anymore. I don't know if it's a single case, but it's not acceptable in any case, and to the bartender (who recognizes himself and others - the service was on 01.07.2017 in the evening against approx. 22:30 - 23:45): be in the future simply friendly or at least neutral! your behavior is the bar not good to face and with certainty to each customer!
