The food here was good. The desserts were great! Getting seated was a little strange in the way they seemed to not have the right size tables for the size of groups they were trying to move in and out. We felt a little rushed. I wish we could have given them another try when they were not so busy. You may want to consider stopping by just for the dessert and maybe get it to go. View all feedback.
What Burghard Ziegler doesn't like about Gundel:
Good cakes but i was treated bad by an employee, cakes and drinks are self service therefore a bit chaotic and they accept only cash. A pity that such a place offering high quality products is managed with a not so good service. View all feedback.
I've only got one. the blueberry cake was very delicious. the staff that took care of me was also nice. they do not accept a card (but German as a whole has this problem.)
Delicious food. a bit expensive because of the prospect and quality of eating. a cappuccino is 3,60 euro and a piece of cake is 3.70
I took 3 different cake slices, all were delicious. also asked for a white chocolate curly ball, but when I checked at home, it was a dark chocolate. they do not take a credit card that is cheap and backward in 2022 from such a big bakery. reflected badly on them
A pleasant stop. good eating. You could be much worse. a sweeter, more stain on the road. it is a very pleasant stop.
Good place but they don't accept credit cards.
