I stopped at the garage just to fill air into my tyre. The attendant who assisted me, Jim, asked what happened, I told him that I have a slow puncture, he proceed to check for the leak and then comes Bongani D who stated don't worry we will sort it out. Long story short, they sorted the leak and I proceed on my way. A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO BOTH THESE GENTLEMEN WHO WENT BEYOND AND ASSISTED ME. Excellent Service. View all feedback.
Convenient takeaway and service is good. Great service station. Modern, neat and clean. Great service and ablution areas are clean and well looked after.
Stopped over for a quick coffee before carrying on on the N3. Was around 6a.m., long night for the staff I am sure, normal shift changeover time. However, when entering the convenience store, was struck by how clean and tidy the store was. Staff were bustling about and friendly to boot. Noticed all the convenience foods available, for kids and adults alike. Those that forgot their sunglasses at home or in the other car, they have some there for you as well. Motor spares for those in need, basic items but jumper cables are always handy to have on hand. Leave mine permanently in the car, if you do not need them, there is always somebody who does. ATM was in the entrance way so any perpetrators would stick out if they wanted to rob anyone wanting to draw cash. Big plus, a large stand of Banting friendly goodies. Do not enjoy those bulk processed meats which are normally found on the side of the till. There is a M&B and Steers on hand if you feel like something a little more substantial. Was fairly busy for 6a.m. Only downside, when outside, got a waif of raw sewage which I assume comes from the nearby low cost housing. Have noticed overflows in the past, build the houses faster than what the municipal facilities can handle. Pity for the garage/convenience store. Were I the owner/s, I would take the municipality on.
Good stop along the N3 Into Johannesburg. Toilets are fairly clean and presentable. Has a Mugg Bean on the Move as well as a Steers inside if you are hungry and want to grab a quick Bite. There is also the usual store to purchase sweets and other snacks or cool drinks. Fair amount of safe parking available for vehicles while one goes in for a meal or to use the restroom.
