Three Bears Cafe - Heber
Three Bears Cafe
Description
Tucked into a mountain town, this charming, rustic café is known for scratch, locally sourced breakfasts—think sweet-cream pancakes, hearty biscuits-and-gravy, and a standout veggie burger. Friendly, welcoming staff and generous portions make it great value; outdoor-only seating and scenic views add to the appeal. The cafe closes early (around 2:30), and service can be slow with occasional lapses in mask use, but freshness, flavor, and local hospitality keep diners coming back.

Great local café! The staff was very friendly. Our server cracked jokes with us and made us very welcome. The food was also really good for a good price. Everything tasted homemade.
During our visit to the Mogollon Flodge, we were pleasantly surprised. The café adheres to CDC guidelines and only offers outdoor seating. The owner was very friendly, and the food was incredibly fresh. I mentioned that everything is sourced locally, and the dishes were fantastic. The prices were also quite reasonable. Just a heads up, they close at 2:30, so plan your visit accordingly. I tried their house veggie burger with onion rings, and it was delicious! If you're in the area, this is a spot you won't want to miss. Your experience may vary, but we had a great time!
We came across the mountain and spotted a billboard for Three Bears Cafe, so we decided to stop in for breakfast. The cafe has a charming, rustic vibe, filled with wonderfully friendly staff and great food in a very laid-back atmosphere. Our waitress learned that we were traveling and told us about a nearby train that would offer incredible views from a cliff overlooking the vast valley below. Without her recommendation, we would have never found the train, but it turned out to be quite easy to access, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.
This is a fantastic spot for delicious food, so be sure to arrive hungry! You get a generous amount for what you pay. The special pancakes are so good that they don’t even need syrup, at least for the month of December. They taste like a slice of heavenly cinnamon!
