This restaurant is open and inviting, lacking the exclusive atmosphere typical of a country club. It's important to note that it's not a fast-food establishment, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes; while some may be a bit pricey, the food is skillfully prepared, and the staff is ready to address any questions or concerns you may have. As the new season begins, the servers are enthusiastic about learning the menu and are eager to provide excellent service to customers. Heber Overgaard is a small town with a limited pool of waitstaff, so it's essential to recognize the efforts of those who are dedicated to delivering great service. Moreover, the restaurant includes a 9-hole golf course where you can challenge your skills. The prices are reasonable, and they organize several golf tournaments throughout the season, all while maintaining the course beautifully, even during dry periods. I highly recommend both the dining experience and the golf course to anyone.
The restaurant has permanently closed and is no longer operating. It should be removed from Yelp. The area around it is overrun with weeds.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was so poor that I can't fathom how they are still in business. Despite it not being busy, our waitress treated everything like a nuisance. We had to wait ages for our drinks, our appetizers arrived without plates, and the list of problems just kept piling up. As for the food, it was extremely unimpressive. None of my family or friends enjoyed their meals, even though we all ordered different dishes. I would highly recommend avoiding this place. They may have new ownership, but it’s evident that they lack the know-how to run a restaurant effectively.
I’ve never been to a restaurant that seemed so uninterested in my business as this one. The attitude of the woman at the reception was incredibly unfriendly; if she dislikes her job that much, maybe it's time for a change. I had a reservation but was still turned away because there were no available carts. It’s completely unacceptable, and I’ve noticed that the quality of the course has seriously declined over the past two years. I’m really disappointed with how this place has transformed.
