This... read more We had another fantastic camping and dining experience here during our annual get-together with our daughter and son-in-law before our European adventure. This pub and campsite never fail to impress. The food is among the best I've had anywhere, coupled with excellent beer and outstanding service from all the staff. It’s a beautiful spot for relaxing after hiking. If you haven’t tried this pub yet, you’re truly missing out on something exceptional.

Despite a darts match happening, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming thanks to the friendly patrons. The bartender was helpful and genuinely nice, making our visit enjoyable. Although we haven't tried the food yet, it comes highly recommended, so we plan to return for that. We also explored the outdoor area, which was impressive—spacious with plenty of seating, games, and numerous umbrellas. It's probably the best pub garden I've seen in a long time, and it was spotless as well. I will definitely be back, especially to try the Sunday lunch. Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.

A table was tipped over by the wind, and it took a... read more I chose to sit in the garden, which was beautiful, but there were many glasses and plates left lying around. A table was tipped over by the wind, and it took a long time for the staff to clean up the broken plates and glassware. When our food finally arrived, the waitress handed us cutlery by the part you eat with, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, my first glass was dirty and had to be replaced. I can’t believe they could mess up something as simple as ham, egg, and chips. I'm really gutted because the reviews I had read were positive.
