However, we came before 6pm and it was lovely to be welcom... read more We were looking for a restaurant in Heathfield and sadly the Pilio was booked for a private function. However, we came before 6pm and it was lovely to be welcomed by true Greek hospitality and flexibility. We were quickly served two yummy dishes and a glass of wine. Also, it is always a good sign when a waiter/waitress asks about the dishes in order to give feedback to the chef. Not only did Ellie ask but she was incredibly charming. All seven of us e... read more Superb food, served piping hot, efficient service, rustic and pleasant atmosphere. A little chily, could have done with the room being warmer. All seven of us enjoyed our food. No vegan or vegetarian choice on the main menu, only on the starters, but people got around that by ordering vegetarian starters as a main. All In all a lovely place to eat tasty, well presented food at reasonable prices. Would recommend.
